IE6下还是有些问题的，Header里的social按钮改成li.twitter a:hover {background:…}这样的形式就可以兼容IE6了，不然IE6下不会有hover效果的。还有tags在的样式在IE6下会有问题。

@Piig.: 建议使用[小工具]的方式在侧边栏输出挂件，这样主题下个版本更新你可以直接覆盖所有文件，否则 你修改的 sidebar.php 内容会被覆盖。

Thank you for your answer. I know how to create new sidebars but the real problem is to create some nice CSS fitting with your template. If you do it, I will be more confident of the quality of the integration in the theme :-)
Some more “problems”):
1. You choose to show post thumnail of the post in the post. Could be good for a new blog but as I plan to use your theme on my old blog, I will have to change your wp_content function (I think I will manage it). I speak about it because I did not understand the use of this function (see http://hpics.li/57a11ee)
2. I have a problem with my Gravatar in comments but it seems there is no problem on your site (see http://hpics.li/edce836)
@Li-An: Thanks for your feedback especially those screen-shot images.
First of all, feel free to redesign Dot-B, of course I can make some footer widgets support in the next version, but still in my mind.
For the two problem:
1. This function is hight recommended by WordPress.org, so I added it. Also please check this Dot-B theme user’s site -> chloechiu.twbbs.org, may be this css style can give you an new idea about this. just an example above.
also, Do you think it is necessary if I build a theme option for user to chose their own way to show or not show thumbnail images in home page?
2. This is not a theme problem but a WordPress system problem caused by the setting->’nested comment depth limit’ on YOUR – SITE.COM/wp-admin/options-discussion.php (nested) comments levels deep you can change it a little more big and if you still think ‘10’ is not big enough, I suppose you to Google a WordPress trick about this.
Aslo I’ve add 2 items in my Evernote wish-list, Thanks again.
OK for the thumbnail. I understand now it’s for people wanting to show an image in home but not in single page. The option could be nice for people like me showing the same image in home (or archive) and in the post itself (I have no time to manage different images for thumbnails :-)).
I don’t want nested comments for the moment (I hardly manage them as reader, I like to know that’s last comment is at the end of the page :-)). So if I change this settings, the gravatar will not hide end of text line ? Well as you say you put it in your Evernote list, I will wait for next version to change this. Thanks for quick answer !
@Li-An: OK, more info about the thumbnail feature I got.
For the nested comment :
So change it to ’1000′ may help a lot and many of my blog mates use this way, even if some of them just simply want a unlimited nested comments layout.
If you just change the limit depth to ’10′ you will still see the no-gravatar area at the end of the line.
@Li-An: I think I can handle the ‘no-reply area display error’ with some css skills. I’ll let you know once I achieve it.

I think I will find a solution for this but I wanted to alert you about this.
@Li-An: OK, then I think the problem “Oversize Gravatar image” may caused by one of your plugin or some manually changing. Because we can see the Children comments Gravatar image is suppose to be “24px*24px” be they are not, can you check the item’s CSS to see which property had covered the original one.
search your CSS style to find if there is a line “.avatar {}” if so remove it.
: just deactivate all the plugins temporarily, and then active them 1 by 1.

另外主題選項的啟用摘要的字數設定也無效，
我平常習慣用繼續閱讀截斷文章，即使設定了，顯示的還是繼續閱讀前的那一段文字，能麻煩你再看勘嘛？

是這樣的,上面那一段代碼只針對 首頁顯示摘要的情况生效,即在Dot-B後臺開啟 摘要輸出那個選項才可. 否則你本來的首頁事由手動添加< --more-- > 標籤達到的分割目的是不可被代替的. 所以你只能今後繼續使用more 標籤的方法, 或者從現在起使用摘要的輸出形式. 另外我將代碼添加後的效果展示再 demo.zlz.im 你可以前去check 一下,目前這種是較爲大眾的使用方法.

我後台選項的啟用摘要我有打勾並且加入繼續閱讀的代碼，
此時首頁摘要顯示的是我自行截斷的內容，而非後台設定的字數，並且繼續閱讀的選鏈接出不來。
是因為繼續閱讀的鏈接沒出來，我才取消啟用摘要，換會現在用more截斷的樣子，原本是比較習慣用摘要的^_^a

@Li-An: I’ve released Dot-B 1.8.4 here waiting for review http://themes.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/5559 Before that, you can download it and cover the old theme from FTP. It is the best way to get priority to use the new version.
Note that all the other change that you‘ve made to the old version will be covered.
No problem, I made a child-theme. The bug is corrected. But not a lot of new options :-)

@Li-An: Yes, firstly I made this effect just follow my mind, I’ll improve it next version, before that you can fix it by delete those 2 lines in the screenshot.(../dot-b/all.js)

sorry to post so much comments… I made my adaptation of your theme (see here: http://www.li-an.fr/blog/) but I have some problem.
1. the gravatar author size (could not find the problem)
2. incompatibility with http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-thumbnail-editor/
3. I changed the theme into a “portfolio” theme with a homepage different from the index page. It works nice on local but not online. The index.php file is not being used and I don’t understand why (but it could be not your theme guilty). I see this: http://www.li-an.fr/blog/billets/

@Li-An: you can delete 3. as I found where the problem was (a home.php file I forgot to delete).

3. Great! But still I’ll advise you to use ‘WP child theme’ technology which can provide you a very graceful way to re-create some themes based on a current theme like Dot-B. When the comes a new version of the theme, you can just paste it into your old one, can all the custom items you’ve made still works will.

The image on the left can be recropped with selection using the mouse and it does not show (I suppose a javascript conflict).
3. I work with a child theme :-) The only problem is the functions.php file. I have to make modifications directly in your file (as I can only ADD functions in child themes).
@Li-An: is it possible to desactivate all javascript in the theme so I can use the plugin ?
And how do you make the Reply think with @Li-An as it does not work like this on my site :-)

I installed that plugin in a test site here http://demo.zlz.im/wordpress/3.2/ and also I checked your site ‘/blog/billets/’, I really advise you to inactive the ‘gzip plugin’ when debugging a site. Because It’s hard to tell apart css&js they used.
About the last question:
Check the last 8 lines in this files: http://zlz.im/wp-content/themes/dot-b/all.js
It’s not a must have function for every blog, so I don’t add that to the Dot-B defaultly.

I had a look in po file and it’s OK (?).
I wanted to say there was a problem with WP-Slimbox2 plugin but this new version corrects the problem :-)
A suggestion: when there is no post for search result, the theme shows only a sentence. Why don’t use the 404 template as it is very complete and add a new search field in it ?
And last question: is there a way to know the theme is updated ?

@Li-An: 1. Oh, I’m afraid not. .mo file is the final language file that WordPress theme will use, for .po is just a source file that can be edited by human.
I just checked the GitHub here found that only the .po file was modified, so I regenerate the .mo file from your .po. And now it must be OK.
Please download those 2 files here and update them in your file release page and of course your site.

But now, since they are very busy, a new version have to wait for almost a month before WP can send notification automatically. (1.8.2 -> 1.8.6+) Many users will just pass the middle version.

1. 彩色条失效可能是你其他插件中js与之冲突了，纯净环境下安装试试。
2. 这个设置是在 function.php中，缩略图的属性，你可以自己定制下。
不知道怎么的，那个彩条条又好了，没操作什么自动好了。
第二个问题也解决了。

This error may only happened in Chrome, you can test it in other browsers e.g. Firefox or IE, and it was caused by javascript putting in a wrong place which should be put in the middle of
, so pls have a check on your plugins code via FTP.Also I’ve checked your Admin Login page, there are a CAPTCHA plugin, try inactive it for a test.
